Panathinaikos: Tsartsaris to miss Top 16
Panathinaikos power forward Kostas Tsartsaris was injured for the second time this season and will be out of action until the end of February, missing the entire Top 16. Tsartsaris, 30, was sidelined this time by a broken bone in his left hand that he suffered during a Greek League game against AEK over the weekend. Tsartsaris, a two-time Euroleague winner with Panathinaikos in 2007 and 2009, is one of the few players who has taken part in all 10 Euroleague seasons this decade, having played the first two with Peristeri. He ranks eighth among all Euroleague players in games played this decade, with 172. Tsartsaris, who had missed the first four games of the regular season due to injury, has averaged 2.7 points and 2.7 rebounds since returning to play the last six games before his latest injury.
